yes, the jws continue to bleed their young ones, so far in my local kh 3 were dfd, one girl just turned 18 this month and packed her bags and said goodbye to the cult and her cultish parents, another young 18 year old man decided to have a non-jw girlfriend and decided to stop attending and is no longer a witness.

they continue to leave and wt leaders dont give a damn.

they dont do anything to help kids be successful and live a healthy life.. .

If the newest DVD released is the GB's secret weapon to try to slow the exodus of young people, they better completely give it up. That mess would only appeal to the most shallow-thinking but deeply entrenched JW. The happy ending portrays this friendless, isolated family with late teenage kids with no goals except to study with Daddy and Mommy and act out bible dramas. This as the family sells their home and downsizes so that they can send more money to the WT pedo fund. Rather than actually address the issues raised by the kids about evolution or nonJW friends, it all gets magically scripted away with no real answers provided.

And the video was very, very offensive in the racial portrayals.

In case I haven't made myself clear yet, that newest video is so bad that words fail me. Imagine there is a huge pile of crap. Then imagine that that pile of crap took a crap. Now you're getting close to understanding how that DVD is the crappiest crap that ever crapped.

the whole article makes me ill with its worse than average mind control.. i was going to only include one quote but there are so many doozies that i will post what i feel to be the worst.. from paragraph 6.

If survival is all it takes to prove that an organization has god's approval, it logically follows that Apple, Inc. also has his approval. WT has new teachings, while Apple has new products. Need some help from you guys

so recently i've been preparing to move out of my parents house, and i've been seeking social assistance.

at my appointment, my social worker asked me for references to people who know about my situation at home.

i know probably nnone of you guys know me too well personally, or my home life, but i know all of you guys have been through similar situations.

Social services will likely need a relative, school counsellor, neighbors, someone really aware of details.

As bad as it is to endure a JW home, don't leave it to get stuck in yet another bad circumstance because you failed to come up with a good plan. Be sure you're not jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

Stuff like this is only for the sake of trying to make the International Crapventions a little more "special."

When I went, it was to foreign capitals where there was lots of other "worldly" stuff to do. I could actually make an interesting vacation out of these. But an IC in Atlanta or Detroit? Ugh. The sheeple would have to fly somewhere else to have fun. So instead, the foreigners are "privileged" to this type of JW entertainment. Such a waste of vacation time and hard-earned money for these travellers.

What is this latest letter from the GB about?

we have been told this week that all in the elder and ms body will be read a letter from the gb about "make this the greatest month of activity ever"..... has anyone else had such a letter read out in their cong / servant body?.

i presume it will be all about "recommending strongly/insisting" that all these men should pioneer for the month?.

Technically, the GB poops in order to provide JWs "food at the proper time". Magazines aren't just printed, they're loaves pinched off. The videos aren't produced, they're defecated. Talk outlines aren't written and presented, they're dumped and flushed straight out to the "friends".

LOL. Just go back and reread about the OT Jehovah that couldn't destroy other nations without killing a bunch of his own. In his A-game, he was afraid of chariots with iron wheels. So it's logical to conclude that an OT WT god will drop rocks from the sky at the big A, but he'll probably take out plenty of JWs along with them, and he can't be bothered with the clean-up. Besides, he'll probably instruct the survivors to collect the jewelry and gold teeth before burying.

over the course of decades as a jw, an elder, a bethelite, then learning ttatt and wanting to leave, i'd collected a lot of insight into the power of "confidentiality.

" although the confidentiality in a judicial hearing is supposedly to protect the sinner, in actuality, i saw that it was about control and was protecting the power of the jc.. i didn't use any of this knowledge until i was called before the boe because the other elders figured they had grounds to remove me as an elder.

it was a work situation that only lasted a matter of hours, but it was enough that they seized the moment.

problemaddict, Elders like that expect that anyone they target should cower in fear and not dare to speak up for themselves. And while elders are eager to be blabbermouths, they expect complete control of the information as they fleece the sheeple. They were windbags... you were the needle. Very well handled on your part, I must say.

JWdaughter, The elders will pick and choose whatever reasoning they want in order to do whatever they want. These "accusers" have no interest in doing what is right, or even what is scriptural. Typically, they are the type that want to bring others down in order to bring themselves up.
